I’m a harpist specialising in weddings and am passionate about helping couples have the best day possible. My many different harps are available for all situations, and amplification can be provided if required. I can play a wide variety of musical genres, according to your tastes. Q – What should couples expect when booking your services? When couples book my services, I give my full commitment to providing the perfect music for the ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast. To that end, I offer a free consultation at my home for couples to see and hear the harps and discuss musical options. This can take place in my COVID-19 secure covered outdoor space or indoors if Government guidelines allow. Q – What packages do you offer? My charges depend on the date, location and which part of the wedding need my services. My minimum cost is £290 for any part of the wedding. For two parts, such as the ceremony and drinks reception, I would typically charge £390. I don’t charge by the hour as I’ve found weddings rarely run on time, so I prefer to charge for the event and then it doesn’t matter if everything runs a bit late. Q – How long before the wedding should couples book? I work alone and only play one wedding a day, so it’s essential to book as soon as you have secured your date and venue to avoid disappointment. Q – What’s your favourite part of the job? My favourite part of playing at weddings is contributing to a couple’s happiness. I feel privileged to be part of such an important occasion, and I love every moment of it. Q – Do you have any top tips for couples? Make sure you hear the music played live before committing and book as early as you can.
