Your West Midlands Wedding- February / March 2021 (Issue 72)

Saying our vows and getting to spend the whole day with our loved ones was a magical experience. We were on cloud nine and very much in love. We were slightly nervous about our first dance, as we had it chor eographed a week before the wedding and had only mastered it a fe w days before! To keep our guests entertained, we had live music from our friend Dan Taylor Music who travelled all the way from Canada to be with us on our big day. He was very interactive with our guests, even inviting some of our cousins to sing. At our evening reception, we had an incredible DJ from Green Claws who kept the party going. Daniel chose a Next suit with a waistcoat and his favourite funky shoes that he’d worn to prom. Since it was December, we had to prepare for the cold and had a suitable overcoat and winter shrug on hand. I opted for a Kelsey Rose dress from Kiss xx. It was elegant but also practical with a halter neckline, lace bodice and flattering cut at the back. I accessorised with a short veil and drop diamond earrings and had my hair done by Creative Wedding Hair by Julie and make-up by Claire Harmer Professional Hair & Make Up Artist The bridesmaids wore burgundy Oasis dresses with lace and pleats paired with extremely soft faux fur shrugs.
