Your West Midlands Wedding- February / March 2021 (Issue 72)

Nick and I have large families and a group of friends who are very dear to us, so we wanted a venue that could accommodate everyone. We started looking around at lots of local properties, but none of them felt right. When we visited Moor Hall Hotel & Spa, we loved the style of the room and gardens, so we booked it! The team provided all of the catering for the day. It was delicious, and our friends and family commented on how much they enjoyed the food. I loved our flowers! Even with just two days notice Entwined Flowers were able to supply bouquets, a flowergirl crown, table display, centrepieces, corsages and buttonholes. We chose a mixture of pink and white roses, eucalyptus and other green foliage. My mum made our three-tier wedding cake. We had planned to order a personalised cake-topper, but as we didn’t have time to source one, we managed to find a Mr & Mrs topper in a local cake shop. To display the bake, we used an old whiskey barrel that we picked up from a local scrapyard. We decorated the top of the barrel with fake eucalyptus and roses. To decorate the venue, we chose rustic wooden love letters from the lovely TCK Entertainments and created a chalkboard welcome sign. The chairs were dressed in white chair covers and beautiful floral sashes. These were provided by Elegant Additions and matched our theme perfectly. 28
