FLOWERS 63 LOOKING YOUR B ST MEET LOCAL JEWELLER, ELIZABETH TERZZA hello@elizabethterzza.com | www.elizabethterzza.com Modern brides do things their own way, so why not choose something borrowed or something blue when you choose something for you? You might decide to wear a jumpsuit or separates instead of a traditional wedding dress, so make sure you keep it fresh and simple and don’t forget to add a touch of your personal style. It’s your accessories that really complete your look, and it’s so easy to choose classic pearl bridal jewellery, but why not go for something unique and sentimental? You can re-wear your jewellery over and over again so treat yourself to something bespoke that you will cherish forever, a future heirloom with its own story to tell. For example, this beautiful necklace pictured was inspired by a bride’s Italian heritage and her love for olive trees. Get in touch with your local jeweller, and they’ll be able to create something special for you. MEET WEDDING DRESS EXPERT, STEPHANIE KYLES FROM STEPHANIE KYLES BRIDAL 07779 279 705 www.stephaniekylesbridal.com Sleeves are the way to go to achieve a modern look. A sleeve can be added onto any dress, but make it a feature, not just a cover-up. Be bold with the design, my personal favourite is the balloon sleeve which is a mixture of ’70s flare and a contemporary twist. Whatever you choose, make sure you keep it clean and classy with a hint of lace detail. Try mixing and matching. Two-piece wedding outfits have been creeping in for a while now, and I think this creates a great current design. You can choose what style skirt and top you want and its a great way to be creative and experiment. A cross between a cape and veil is wings! This trend is just fabulous. Capes can cover up too much of your gown, and a veil isn’t for everyone. Tulle wings can be added to most dresses with straps and sleeves and can easily be detached to create two separate looks.
