48 MEET JULIE BERESFORD FROM NOTHING BUT WEDDING CARS 07950 233 240 | www.nothingbutweddingcars.co.uk Tell us about your company. We’re a family-run, multi-award-winning wedding car company based in Sutton Coldfield. In 2020, we have won numerous awards including The Wedding Industry Awards 2020, The Wedding Business Awards 2020, The Global Wedding Awards 2020 and we have just been informed that we’re regional finalists in The Wedding Industry Awards 2021. Our warm and friendly approach, attention to detail and customer-centric focus have contributed to our amazing success. What do you offer couples for the big day? We have a fleet of seven outstanding vehicles; three vintage Volkswagen Campervans, a Beetle Cabriolet, a vintage-style Regent Landaulet and two modern cars. If you’re looking for something vintage, quirky or luxurious, then we have something to suit. What should couples expect when booking your services? We’re a professional and customer-centric company. From the initial enquiry, we work with couples to help them plan their dream transport. We offer a flexible approach with multiple trips and multi pick-up options available, if practical, to help keep the costs down. Our customers are at the centre of everything we do, and so we offer a package of extras, at no additional cost, helping to make each wedding extra special. The vehicles are maintained to an exceptional standard and deep cleaned before and after every wedding or viewing appointment. How long before the wedding should couples book? With so many wedding being postponed to 2021 and now 2022, we would highly recommend you book your transport well in advance to avoid being disappointed. A deposit is all that’s required to secure the car of choice, so don’t risk delaying. What are your top tips for couples? Research to find a reputable wedding car company. Check reviews on Trustpilot, Facebook and Google, paying particular attention to reviews written by customers who have had to postpone due to COVID-19, this will give you a good insight into how they perform in challenging situations. Look for a company that has a website as well as a social media presence. Websites take time, effort, and money to build and manage, and are a good indicator of how serious they are about their company and the service they offer. When possible arrange a viewing appointment, as photos can be old or even airbrushed. During the lockdown, reputable companies will offer the option of virtual appointments. If you’re staying at the venue, the transport could be used by your partner, and then you have the benefits of the car for photos and even a romantic drive. If you’re affected by COVID-19, it’s important to liaise closely with your supplier to give them maximum notice of any changes. Take a fair and reasonable approach as you may need to be flexible about the vehicles you can have for your new date. Those of you having micro-weddings, your choice of wedding transport is more important than ever, as it not only provides your transport but is also the backdrop for your photos. There has been some confusion about wearing face masks, as wedding cars are not classed as private hire vehicles, passengers are not required by law to wear a mask, however, some companies may insist that you wear them.
