65 REGIONAL SHOOT Full of rich colours and oh-so romantic decorations, this same sex marquee shoot is bursting with inspiration Images courtesy of Rosie Kelly Photography  MAGIC Moroccan W ith visions of a Moroccan and bohemian flower-filled marquee, a team of creative suppliers worked together to create this outdoor wedding shoot. Wedding planner, Martina Paul tells us: “We had free rein of the expansive grounds at Umberslade Farm Park in Tanworth-in-Arden. Hannah from Bride and Bloom wanted the flowers to reflect the eclectic and busy atmosphere in Morocco, so she incorporated scented garden roses and sweet peas, mixing fresh British blooms with dried versions to create one-off eyecatching arrangements. Envisaging earthy ochres, glorious golds, deep reds and splashes of orange and green, we set about filling the blank canvas. Stylist, Katie from The Vintage House That Could created the perfect backdrop for our two boho brides. She introduced patterns and warm colours into the marquee through pink glassware, rustic stoneware plates and rattan placemats that tied everything together.” The gorgeous cake was provided by Pia from The Vanilla Pod Bakery. “Pia used textures and warm colours on a classic white fondant cake,” says Martina. “She hand-painted the wavy edges with gold details, then roughly painted the colour around the base of each tier to create a more natural look. To add texture, she stencilled royal icing leaf motifs and finished by adding romantic blooms from Bride and Bloom. The bake sat in all its glory atop an impressive oak circular bar. We had two bar areas with delicious cocktails courtesy of mixologists Mix&Twist.” The models, Clair and Carly, wore beautiful dresses from Ava May Bridal. “We chose Telesto by Pronovias, a much-loved backless and long sleeved bridal gown that showed off Carly’s silhouette beautifully, and Adele by Wilderly Bride which has a beautiful collar neck and leg split,” explains Martina. “With hair styled by Sarah Russell, we created a relaxed boho feel with a hint of sophistication.” The impressive head table, guest tables, cross-back chairs, benches and floral rings were provided by Boutique Marquees. “We wanted to set up a covered area for the ceremony that can take place outdoors anywhere in the UK to show couples how flexible a marquee can be,” Martina adds. “As a celebrant, I can write and officiate tailor-made ceremonies anywhere, and I think this is so important, especially in the current climate.”
