Your West Midlands Wedding- April/May 2020 (Issue 67)

In the evening I slipped on some red lipstick (which is kind of my thing) a customised leather Jacket from Bespoke Chalk & Print, that had Mrs Duke painted on the back again with my foliage white and gold theme. I loved being able to simply change up my look throughout the day and kept it all true to my style. For the wedding breakfast I wore the Charlie Brear Sabine top over my dress. One of our favourite ways to eat is sharing platters so this is what we chose for the day. We wanted our guests to mingle and socialise whilst they ate and sharing platters were perfect for this. We opted for long, picnic bench-style tables with lace runners, soft ruscus foliage running all the way down with lots of vintage brass and glass candlesticks that I sourced from charity and vintage shops. The top table was dressed the same but had a huge hoop in front dressed in foliage and pampas grass. I wore Payton by Charlie Brear. The dress was totally different from what I thought I would go for, but I kept coming back to it. I loved its simplicity, it felt like a perfect dress for accessorising. “I forgot to wait for Paul as I walked up the aisle to leave the church and he had to pull me back!” ~ Jackie 42
