The Grade II Listed building dates back to 1728 when it acquired the status of an inn; although prior to this date and possibly as early as the 1650s it was a coaching inn. The interior décor is in the early Georgian style with panelled walls and beamed ceilings while the Warwick Suite, at the heart of the hotel, has glittering chandeliers and mirrored walls. The Bloxam Room at Rugby Registry Office, just a minute’s walk from The Rugby Hotel, is decorated and furnished in shades of jade and cream and seats 60 guests.
