Your West Midlands Wedding - Feb/Mar 2020 (Issue 66)

LOCAL INSPIRATION 71  THE STATIONERY Brittany at Pigment+Paper picked out the earthy tones from the inspiration for her artwork, to create the beautiful stationery included in this shoot. Brittany also had the great idea of adding touches of gold foil for that luxurious feel. THE VENUE The beautiful Burton Court in Herefordshire completely oozes character and is steeped in history. Every room tells a story and we were really spoilt for choice for backdrops inside and out. THE GROOM The suit was carefully selected by Carolyn at Bill Child Formal Wear. She chose a three-piece suit in brown tweed and a nude tie to match in perfectly. THE CAKE Couture Cakes by Claire specialises in hand-painted cakes, and the duo she created for this shoot combined gorgeous drama and detail – lots of feathers, wild pink oats and grasses were added! THE TABLESCAPE Julie at Dress to Impress created the most wonderful tablescape. With a linen coloured tablecloth as a neutral background, wicker chargers, nude chair covers, and gold cutlery. Adding etched smoky glasswear just topped this look off with perfection. THE HAIR Curled and tousled by Amy Bemand Hair, with our first look being a half-up half-down affair and then a more relaxed bohemian-vibe for the second look to tie in with the fedora and jacket inspiration.
