With 15 years’ experience as a chef Richard Cummins found himself being asked to cater different events regularly and as a result created the company last year and now works alongside his wife Hannah. Each menu’s written around the couple with their guests, tastes and experiences in mind to help re-create those special moments shared as a couple. Food isn’t simply sustenance it can be an amazing experience. Westwoods Bespoke Dining has a strong passion for their impact on the planet and is a family-run business with an emphasis on small scale low impact business. The menu’s written to use locally sourced produce from Staffordshire and its surrounding counties as much as possible. They use the butchers called Russells of Shenstone which is second to none championing free-range produce with traditional methods of production and preparation for not least of all Staffordshire’s famous Packington pork. Westwoods Bespoke Dining source re-usable and biodegradable packaging for all events right down to how food is kept chilled. They use ice and insulation instead of burning oil to run refrigeration generators when moving goods. Their work is full of love and passion for what they do and when asked about their favourite comfort food Richard says, “If I had to choose just one I guess it would be sausage and mash, only a proper fat banger from a quality butcher will do. Grilled and finished through the oven with creamy mashed potato with a spot of wholegrain mustard through it, finished off with real rich onion gravy.” Contact:  facebook.com/WestwoodsBespoke/ matjamesphotography.co.uk
