In the early days, we always had so much to talk about and things moved very quickly. Stuart is so kind, and we laughed every day. We both just knew we were right for each other. Stuart proposed five months after our first date, five months after that we were pregnant, and three months later, we bought our first house together. Both of us were starting to give up hope of finding the one but when we met, everything just fell into place.” Stuart proposed on Valentine’s Day in a restaurant. “I had no idea he was going to propose,” shares the bride. “It was so early in the relationship that it hadn’t even crossed my mind. He had been to my parents in secret to ask permission and had designed the engagement ring himself. He had planned to get down on one knee, but it was so busy, and we were seated next to the kitchen door with waiters continuously coming and going. So he put the ring on the table and asked me to marry him! I was so shocked but immediately said yes.” Here she shares some of her favourite moments from their big day... REAL WEDDINGS 49
