Rebekah and Jez quickly become inseparable and celebrated their love for one another at The Talbot Images courtesy of Photography by Michaelangelo R ebekah and Jez first laid eyes on each other at Reading University. “We were both studying biochemistry but didn’t meet until our third year,” says Rebekah. “We’ve been inseparable ever since, but just as friends for the first year. I liked his sense of humour and laid-back personality. Jez planned to make a move on the night of our graduation ball, but as the fireworks went off I was rushed to hospital with a burst appendix! It took nearly dying of septicaemia for me to realise that I loved him!” Jez asked Rebekah to marry him on Christmas morning in 2018. “He told me he had hidden a present and I needed to search for it,” shares the bride. “It took a while before I realised he’d slid a ring onto our cat’s collar who was following me around the flat!
