Dating back to 1820, the property is the ancestral residence of the Lovelace family and is home to a long line of notable thinkers. Today the charming venue provides the perfect setting for a wedding celebration with a stunning tower, a terrace wrapping around the Victorian mansion, views of the croquet lawn and a lake. There are three function rooms available for weddings and 28 newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms available.. CELEBRATE IN STYLE Couples can tie the knot in the Great Hall, which has an orchestral gallery and is decorated with 150 coats of arms and twinkling candles. This traditional English banqueting hall can hold 120 guests for the ceremony, 110 for a sit-down meal and 200 for the reception. The Sopwith is an elegantly designed room with a bay window, doors that open onto the front of the house, and room for 120 loved ones for the vows and 200 for the evening celebration. Alternatively, 1820 is the perfect room for small ceremonies. This light and airy space has an original 18 th -century fireplace, connects to the bar and can accommodate 50 friends and family for vows and meal and 120 for the party. WE LOVE...
