FLOWERS 87 LOOKING YOUR B ST How to look your big-day best I ncorporating colours into your big day is becoming increasingly more popular, so to help give you heaps of inspiration, we’ve chosen three on-trend hues and asked local suppliers how you can include it into your look. THE WOW -FACTOR PINK PINK LADIES Headwear designer Inna Walker tells us how you can incorporate pink into your accessories. Inna says: Blush is flattering, undeniably feminine and looks good on any skin colour, complexion or age. It’s soft and can easily be incorporated into your bouquet, buttonholes and other accessories. Fearless or eccentric brides can opt for stronger shades such as cerise, candy or hot pink. If you’re having a non-white gown, opt for a different hue for the bridesmaids’ dresses but whatever you do, don’t overdo it! Remember, if you choose too many tints, then it will lose its effect. There are hundreds of options available so take into consideration your skin tone and eye colour before making a decision. You will have lots of choices to make that will depend on the shade you’ve chosen so choose which shade of pink you’d like to wear as early as possible. Same goes for your guests. Ask them not to wear pink in advance. Here at Inna Walker Headpieces, we can match your headpiece to your dress or accessories. We hand-dye our fabrics for flower making and can use the same material as your gown to make a hat or fascinator. Whatever you decide to do, it’s important to be organised and plan ahead. Blushing beauty Your make-up is one of the most important aspects of your nuptials, so we asked Amy Lacey how you can incorporate this wonderful hue into your look. Amy says: I love using this pretty shade on my brides, be it winter or summer there’s an option to suit everyone. It can be incorporated in many ways from a gorgeous vibrant lip to a subtle rose on the cheeks with blush. Don’t be frightened to use subtle pinks or rose golds on the eyes as this can be divine! There are lots of beautiful options that will complement all skin tones. One of my favourites for a classic style is Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Collection. Alternatively, for a more daring look, go for a strong wing liquid eyeliner with a hint of blush and finish with a bold lip colour such as Chatterbox, Pink Nouveau by MAC or Show Orchid from MAC. www.amy lacey.co.uk www.inna walker.co.uk and www.face book.com/alexandra.glazko.photography
