Since opening in 1907, the property has been through two World Wars, the Jet Age and beyond. It’s a place of great endeavour, achievements and has spawned many great pioneers, drivers, aviators and engineers. Couples will able to browse through the archives and get an insight into its wonderful history. Take advantage of the many photo opportunities such as under the wings of the first production Concorde, the oldest remaining British motor racing track or next to remarkable motor racing vehicles. Couples can make the day extra special by booking a driving experience on part of the old track in an exhilaration racing car. CELEBRATE IN STYLE All function spaces are licensed for ceremonies, and couples can even tie the knot in a Concorde plane. The Art Deco rooms are flooded with natural light and offer views of either the Motoring Village, Original Finishing Straight or the Aircraft Park. The Napier Room can accommodate 180 guests for the service and 250 for the reception. Alternatively, the Vickers Suite can be used with space for 100 loved ones throughout the day. The Bluebird Room can hold 80 friends and family for the ceremony and 100 for the evening celebration. For those looking for something quirky, the Concorde is capable of holding 60 nearest and dearest. The Original Members’ Bar and outside balcony can also be used for reception drinks. WE LOVE... This Victorian mansion dates back to 1820 and boasts 28 newly refurbished en suite bedrooms, a croquet lawn, a lake and quirky towers. CELEBRATE IN STYLE Nearlyweds can tie the knot in the Great Hall, a traditional English banqueting hall, with room for 120 friends and family for the ceremony, 110 for the wedding breakfast and 200 for the reception. The Sopwith can also be used, which has an elegant design, large bay windows, a terrace and a croquet lawn, with space for 120 loved ones for the meal and 200 for the evening celebration. Alternatively, 1820 is available. Full of natural light, this grand area has an 18 th -century fireplace and can accommodate 50 guests for the service and 120 for the party. WE LOVE... Couples can stay in the bridal suite on the night of the wedding and will have use of a certified toastmaster, a ceremonial knife and sterling cake stand, a red-carpet arrival, menu tasting, complimentary bed and breakfast and a stay at Horsley Towers for their first anniversary.
