Your Surrey Wedding - October/November 2019 (Issue 79)

We went to Dubai and the Maldives for 10 days for our honeymoon. We wanted to wait until the rainy season had passed, but when we arrived it started spitting! We both thought our trip was ruined but luckily it stopped and didn’t rain again! We had the most amazing time sunbathing, snorkelling and seeing the dolphins. My maid-of-honour, Row, helped me in the run-up to our big day. She gave me a personalised hanger and a really touching card. My bridesmaid, Jess, also stepped in at the last minute and let me borrow her earrings and my friend Camille did my make-up perfectly. Damien’s best man designed and paid for our invitations and my friend, Nina, did my bridesmaids’ hair. Our wedding showed us just how lucky we are to be surrounded by such wonderful people.
