Your Surrey Wedding - October/November 2019 (Issue 79)
Our close friend, Hobbie Stuart, performed Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud for our first dance. He’s an old school friend and I’ve always loved his music, so it meant so much to us that he was involved in our special day. For the ceremony, we had a pianist play as I walked down the aisle. It was really special and created a great atmosphere. My bridesmaids chose pink backless dresses from ASOS. I visited around 10 different bridal boutiques before I decided on a gown. I emailed Rosie at Miss Bush before my appointment and told her exactly what I wanted. When I arrived, she suggested I try on Noah by Sottero and Midgley and I instantly fell in love. On the morning of the wedding it was pouring down with rain and it was all I could think about. I was really upset until I walked down the aisle and saw Damien. At that moment, I felt so incredibly happy to be marrying my best friend that nothing else mattered. Damien and his groomsmen wore matching Hammond & Co suits. To ensure Damien stood out, he picked an ivory tie while they wore navy versions. REAL WEDDINGS 57 X
