REAL WEDDINGS 51 X Xenia, took me to London to buy. They were so comfy, and I didn’t take them off all day.” Mackenzie and the groomsmen wore Ted Baker morning suits with grey double-breasted waistcoats and black patent shoes. “My bridesmaids chose a lovely skirt and top combination,” says the bride. “We opted for a blush pink fishtail skirt and a top with an ivory lace overlay. The outfits were made-to-measure and looked fabulous.” TIME TO CELEBRATE “To keep our loved ones entertained, we hired Brian Mole Wedding DJ,” Charlotte reveals. “He played different types of music throughout the day. My father-daughter dance was to Barry White’s Just The Way You Are, and at the end of the song, a saxophonist began to play Rather Be by Jess Glynne. Later on, around 30 of us learned a flash dance to surprise the rest of the guests. This was a great way to get the party started, and the dancefloor was full all night.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS “On the morning of our nuptials, I woke up extremely excited and couldn’t wait to celebrate,” explains Charlotte. “The whole day was brilliant, and we loved having our photographs taken.” The couple couldn’t be more grateful to Charlotte’s dad, Martyn, as she shares: “He took on the role of a wedding planner, so we started calling him The Creative Director. He’s always been great at organising things, and he did so much for us. He dealt with all the suppliers and made it the best day ever.” HONEYMOON “We’re planning to go to Bali for two weeks in September,” reveals Charlotte. “Right after the wedding, we had to go away for work, so we can’t wait to go on our official honeymoon.”
