Our sister-in-law made our wedding cake for us, and on top of the cake was a small figurine of our dog Elvis who is a springer spaniel. As much as we would have loved to have him with us on the day, he was much better behaved on the cake! We had a really simple table layout as we wanted to make the most of the huge windows and amazing views! Our table plan was based around comedy films with quotes relating to food from the movies. Everyone loved it and we didn’t get any of the signs back, so we’re hoping they are making a nice accessory in several of our guests’ homes! I made all the table signs and name tags myself, which all matched our navy colour theme. I originally wanted a small wedding with only a few friends and family; however, Matt wasn’t having any of it. He knew of the Botley Hill Barn by driving past it, so we went out for lunch and had a sneaky look around and instantly fell in love. 30
