Your Sussex Wedding - April/May 2021 (Issue 90)

I wore Stella York style 6758. It was simple and elegant with a big skirt. If you can’t have a f ull dress on your wedding day, when can you? I kept acces sories simple with a long veil and meaningful jewellery. We had a silver and white balloon arc hway along with a few balloon trees. The venue didn’t n eed too much as it was beautiful already. Nathan was dressed in a dinner suit with a pocket square. His super-smart groomsmen also wore black tie to match. Various pop-culture references featured in our table names. They were all places from our favourite universes such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Game of Thrones and Marvel. We enjoyed a wedding breakfast of butternut squash ravioli with sage butter, sausage and mash with onion gravy and vegetables, and sticky toffee pudding with custard. It was all absolutely delicious, and great for a November day. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous in gre y dresses and grey wedge heels, which were their request for the sake of comfort.
