Your Sussex Wedding - August/September 2020 (Issue 86)

The colour of the sky in the evening was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Our photographer said he’d been waiting all summer for a sky like that. The DJ was also a huge hit. I gave him the average age range of our guests and he made sure to play every request I provided. I wanted it to reflect our choice of wild flowers and it looked exactly as I imagined. The bottom tier was lemon and poppy seed, and the top was a white chocolate and raspberry vanilla sponge. We dined on prawn cocktail for starter, lemon and thyme chicken with dauphinoise potatoes for main course and profiteroles for dessert. Myles and I had a special profiterole swan! 46
