Your Sussex Wedding - August/September 2020 (Issue 86)

I wanted that romantic light and airy look, so I chose a lace dress by Jesus Peiro. It was simple, yet elegant. I accessorised with a floor-length veil, and two vintage-style hair pins. Ben wore a light green tweed suit tailored in London by Brown in Town. He completed the very British look with a pair of brogues. My bouquet, and the bridesmaids’, were all made up of peach and coral hues. The groom and ushers all wore buttonholes, and the mums had corsages, all of calla lilies. We travelled to the ceremony in a beautiful classic Rolls Royce. My bridesmaids wore long grey dresses with lace detail. We’d planned to spend all day on Oxford street dress shopping, but found the perfect ones at 20 per cent off quite early on, so we ordered them there and then, and went for a drink to celebrate! 38
