Built in 1856 it’s been rediscovered over the last couple of years restoring it to its former glory as a welcoming home. Grade II listed it still boasts original features such as gargoyles, intricate carvings, and impressed lead work. The manicured lawns are framed by stone walls, which contrast beautifully with the green stripes of the grass and pops of colour from the flower beds. Balcombe Place is surrounded by its grounds offering privacy and exclusivity for everyone within its bounds. The Library is clad in dark panelling, and boasts walls bursting with books. It offers the most formal setting for your vows surrounded by 30 of your nearest and dearest. Alternatively, the Drawing Room, with its large bay window and huge marble fireplace offers an unusual and character-filled space for your “I dos,” and can host 100 guests. The Music Room houses a vast arched ceiling, wood-panelled walls, bay window, balcony, and organ, all combined to create a stunning ceremony backdrop for you and 120 loved ones. The ground floor of the house can be used for your drinks and canapés reception, spreading out onto the lawn at the front. A marquee can be pitched on the lawns for your wedding breakfast with 350 guests.
