Your Sussex Wedding - June/July 2020 (Issue 85)

The bridesmaids wore TNFC dresses in blush pink. Once I’d chosen them, I gave the girls free rein on shoes and how they wore their hair and make-up. The groomsmen wore suits from Reiss. James chose navy jackets with grey trousers so they were styled differently but still complemented his look. We’d never heard of flowers being grown especially for weddings before, but I’m so glad we found Sussex Flower Farm. We were able to visit and get an idea of colours and blooms, with a solid picture of the look we were going for. To add some height to the room we had pedestals with wild flowers on half of the tables, and gold candlesticks with votive candle holders filled with flowers on the other half. We had personalised rock sweets to add a touch more Brighton to the day, and gave them to guests in little hessian bags so they could take some home as a memory of the day. Each table also had a Mr & Mrs quiz to get the guests talking before dinner. The gold mirror table plan added a further dash of gold and allowed everyone to check themselves out before taking their seats! REAL WEDDINGS 53 
