Happily his arm was twisted and he ended up taking part in more dances than his bride! A song request form was included with the RSVPs, the results of which formed a playlist for more dancing following the ceilidh. Jessie remembers: “Everyone got very excited when their choice came on.” The children, in particular, adored the VW Campervan photo booth, supplied by Gecko Campers. The happy couple were left with plenty of hilarious snaps inside a guestbook, accompanied by drunk messages from the grown-up guests! MEMORABLE MOMENTS For Jessie, the ceremony was the real standout section of the day. She explains: “I could never have imagined how emotional I would get. Adam is usually the one to cry! Afterward, I was just blissfully happy. There’s no feeling like it!” The dog-sitter brought along the couple’s eight-month- old border collie, Berry, for photos. The bride recalls: “She was so excited and happy to see everyone, and the resulting photos were beautiful.” THE GETAWAY The bride discovered their honeymoon hotel online and immediately fell in love. A small hotel on the clifftop in Imerovigli, Santorini, The Avaton Resort and Spa was the perfect place to relax. Jessie says: “The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The honeymoon suite was beautiful. We had two balconies and our own private Jacuzzi.” She also made full use of the hotel’s spa every other day – as you would. Even Adam was persuaded into a spa afternoon and a couples massage by the final day. But the honeymoon highlight was by far the catamaran tour of the island. Jessie tells us: “Watching the sun set over the sea was so romantic.”
