Your South Wales Wedding - March/april 2021 (Issue 78)

We can’t thank our friends and family enough. Ev eryone went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. Due to COVID-19, we wanted to limit the number of staff so that we could have those closest to us there. This o ften meant our loved ones were helping to set up the drinks and music, which was amazin g.. We were nervous before the ceremony, but as soon as I walked down the aisle, we were overcome with emotion. It felt like we had gone thr ough so much to get there and to actually make our dream a reality was amazing. W e didn’t stop smiling all day, and it really was the best day of our lives. We were limited with the entertainment due to COVID-19, however, we were lucky enough to have the amazing Bridge Strings perform during the day. They played a beautiful selection of songs with a modern twist and were a real hit with our friends and family. My bridesmaids wore multiway dresses from Debenhams. Two of the girls opted for a cross neck style while the other two chose a kimono style. Ibrahim opted for a three-piece navy and tan check suit from Next with brown accessories and a pocket watch. I wore a classic A-line off-the-shoulder gown by M orilee called Providence 5712 from All About Eve Bridal. I accessorised with a cathe dral length veil, pearl and diamond drop earrings and ivory satin pointed shoes. I did change into a more floaty dress in the evening to create a more relaxed vibe.
