Your arrangements will be visible in all your photographs and can be a great way of tying together your chosen theme or colour scheme. To help you create the perfect wedding, we’ve asked local suppliers some of your burning questions. Q – My wife-to-be and I are looking for a florist. What should we take into consideration before booking? For many of you, finding a florist will be high on your list and one of the first things you want to book. Keep in mind that flowers aren’t just bouquets and buttonholes, they’re quite often the main source of decoration for your big day. If blooms are important to you, book your florist as soon as possible. Ask your venue and photographer if they have any recommendations. They will have worked with lots of suppliers and will likely know who will be suitable for your nuptials. Remember that recommendations are just people’s opinions and everyone has their own style. Ask yourself, do you want just bridal arrangements or venue decorations too? Do they hire vases or do you need to find an event décor company? Are you able to meet them in person? It’s essential that you feel at ease around them. A good florist will only need one picture to bring your vision to life. Do you have a set look for your flowers? Some suppliers will specialise in certain styles. Look for inspiration via social media, wedding magazines and local photographers’ pictures. It can be hard to work out a budget without knowing the cost of your arrangements. Have a look on websites to see if you can find a rough price guide. Don’t be afraid to ask for the world, but be prepared to scale back! Blooms aren’t cheap, but they can certainly give you the wow factor. A talented supplier will be able to help you create what’s important to you. Discuss your options with your florist carefully before choosing a style. ❤ Establish a good relationship with your chosen supplier. Be honest about your budget, and they’ll be able to advise and guide you with the most suitable choices. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, after all, it’s not every day you get married. www.aureliaallenphotography.com www.aureliaallenphotography.com www.aureliaallenphotography.com 
