Your South Wales Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 74)

I purchased my dress from All About Eve. I imagined myself wearing something really simple but ended up with something completely different. The staff gave me the most magical experience and I can’t thank them enough. My Justin Alexander gown was made from Chantilly lace with hand-sewn beads and embellishments. I accessorised with a cathedral-length veil, heels and Swarovski drop earrings. We shopped high and low for the bridesmaids’ dresses and ended up spoilt for choice at Yasmin Rose Bridal in Wenvoe. The girls fell in love with a one-shoulder Dessy design. David and his best man wore T.M. Lewin suits and Hugo Boss bow ties. The rest of the groomsmen opted for black suits from Dyfed Menswear with white shirts. During the ceremony and while the photographers were being taken we had Fleur Quartet play some beautiful music. We also had a magician called Max who pretended to be a guest through the ceremony and then surprised everyone during the drinks reception. In the evening, we had the most amazing band called Tux Fizz play. The dancefloor was full all night, and the lead singer, Chris, would come into the crowd and interact with the guests. They went down a storm and didn’t stop singing and dancing all night long. We were so excited on the day and were actually ready early! Dave was a little nervous in the run-up to the ceremony, but once that was over, we were able to thoroughly enjoy the day. I think having the venue ready the day before made the whole wedding feel so much more relaxed. REAL WEDDINGS 27 
