FLOWERS 69 MUSIC AND ENTERTAINM NT MEET JUNE GOULD (DJ JUNE CECILIA) FROM SGDJ AND SG DISCOS 07779 657 983 | sgdjweddings.com What do you offer couples for the big day? We offer DJ services, sound and lighting, master of ceremonies, optional recording of your speeches, PA, music and sound support. We also provide two optional extras, a selfie wizard, which is a fun photo sharing experience that your guests can actively participate in, and the funkiest dancefloor ever! Couples can book us for part of the day or for a full-day. What should couples expect when booking your services? A meeting preferably at your venue so we can see how we’ll fit in the space available and discuss in person your wishes. Couples can expect flexible payment terms and peace of mind. Many people have had bad experiences and often know what they don’t want as much as what they do. Knowing that your musical preferences will be listened to, the quality of sound will be what it should and sound levels are appropriate are all things that you should expect and will help you relax on the day. How long before the wedding should couples book? Bookings can be made up to two years in advance, but most people book six to 12 months ahead. The shortest notice we’ve had was two weeks before and luckily we had the dates free. What’s your favourite wedding you’ve worked at? I have loved seeing the joy in happy couples on their day. Sometimes there’s wild and crazy dancing, sometimes it’s all quite dignified, and musical tastes can be quite varied. One of the greatest things is just meeting and getting to know some lovely people. What are your top tips for brides-to-be? Don’t drink too much on the day! You have looked forward to this special day for months or years, so it’s important you savour each moment and remember it all before it’s gone. Don’t book buses for your guests before the end of the night. Have a good ending and take some time for proper goodbyes. If things don’t go exactly as planned – it’s okay! You can still enjoy the day and have a unforgettable positive experience. Do plenty of planning and delegating in advance, so you’re not too exhausted to enjoy the day. The dancefloor can also be used as an aisle. Neale James Photography oakfieldphotography.net
