Your South Wales Wedding - September/October 2025 (Issue 105)

Tambourines as wedding favours was a no-brainer with all of the musicians in attendance, and these doubled up as place names for the guests, making for a unique table setting. Placed around the centrepieces of pampas, they were a bohemian dream! Sammi, her bridesmaids and her sisters all came together to make the bouquets and buttonholes for the special day – a sentimental touch from the bride. Their wedding featured two luxurious cakes, and they were the spotlight on the dessert table, which the couple later got behind and served to their guests. The venue was styled to include rattan, muslin, wooden beads, eucalyptus, white crockery, and black cutlery. They also added their own version of a card game to the lineup – Cards Against Matrimony – which led to some outrageously funny remarks from their guests. Sammi wore a dress by Enzoani in a style that she felt would match the pampas; Alex wore a dark green suit by Hugo Boss; the bridesmaids rocked burnt orange dresses from Ever Pretty, and the groomsmen wore linen trousers from Next with a tan waistcoat. Sammi’s mum also made Theo and Lennon matching tan waistcoats which Sammi says, “is something they will cherish forever”. A standout moment for the couple was the Pringles tower they featured, which they underline with the phrase “crisps not canapés, forever”. REAL WEDDINGS 33
