Dave’s Coaches, from the famous Gavin & Stacey series, was provided by Teulu Travel of Tonypandy. This transported both the groom’s party and bridal party from their hotels to the wedding venue; they also stayed so guests could enjoy taking photographs of this iconic transport. Provided by ELYN Boutique UK, we had a multitude of different flower displays dotted around the venue, including the stunning flower arch leading into the orangery. All of the little venue details, such as the flower arch, the chair drapes, the charger plates, the lilac napkins and the décor around the guestbook signing table, were provided by ELYN. We also provided a self-service pick ‘n’ mix of sweets and fresh fruit on a rustic cart for our guests. Each table was themed on a sentimental place – which included a visual illustration of each location, created by Foxy Peach Illustrations. Each table card was complete with a write up on the reverse, explaining why the table was named that and the significance of the place to the two of us. We placed people on the tables from different areas, so they would be interested in finding out a bit more about our history as a couple. These table name cards have doubled up as keepsakes for our home and are now framed and displayed around our home. For place names we opted for ribbons designed by Adaelle Design, which were tied to the champagne glasses. I wore a duchess satin, A-line dress, with a bardot-neckline lace appliqué bodice and corset back. Complemented by a shoulderlength veil with Swarovski crystals; designed by Samm Buca, from Pink Butterfly Brides. I wanted a dress that was off-the-shoulder, A-line, and with a vintage style and that’s exactly what I got! Gary wore a Sinatra double-breasted, threepiece dinner suit. The groomsmen wore the same as the groom and our three-yearold wore a three-piece suit in black from Ruckley’s in Barry. 33 REAL WEDDINGS
