Nothing screams perfect Sunday, then bumbling around a stunning historic home or gorging myself on farmshop delicacies. In fact, I think this may be when I recharge my dopamine levels for the year! The sense of fulfilment, having spent an obscene amount of money on local artists’ goods, should be studied as an antidepressant. Goodness knows where I’ll keep it all at home, seeing as we are up to our eyeballs in paraphernalia; but that’s a problem for future Issy – present Issy is just glad she got another notebook with a hedgehog on it.
