They provided guidance, enabled a smooth transition between ceremony and wedding breakfast, and put the couple’s mind at ease. Angharad shares, “They were not only photographers on the day, but they also became our wedding coordinators and made sure all our requests were met. They provided us with impeccable service!”. “Huw and Dale captured the day beautifully and have provided us with lifelong memories that we will cherish forever.” – Angharad The couple also had high praises for Debra, the senior staff member at The Orangery, sharing, “Debra is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to weddings, and offered solid advice throughout the planning process. Her guidance on the day was also invaluable, she made sure we were looked after throughout”. NEWLYWED ADVENTURE At the time of writing, the couple are yet to go on their honeymoon but have a few trips planned for this year. Angharad shares, “We are going to Belfast in February to watch the Cardiff Devils play the Belfast Giants in their annual double header. Also, we are embarking on a fortnight-long Mediterranean cruise to relax in the summer. We are very much looking forward to exploring Greece, Italy and France during this time and already have lots of excursions planned”. TOP TIP Angharad and Lewis’s advice comes in two stages, wedding planning and wedding day. When planning your wedding they advise, “Don’t get sucked into trends or traditions! Do things on your special day that you want to do, not because it’s trendy. Also, a spreadsheet is a good way of keeping track of costs and look into making a wedding website to help keep guests informed”. For the wedding day they suggest, “Steal some intimate moments with your partner, away from guests and photographers. Yes, the day is about you two, and everyone will want to talk to you both, but don’t forget to spend time with your partner at regular intervals of the day.” 32
