The Cheshire Dining Experience spoiled the couple with a wealth of menu choices for the wedding breakfast. “We picked what we loved and went for a tasting, just the two of us,” Roxanne says. “It was absolutely stunning, and I’m so grateful we did it because I was so unwell on the day that I didn’t eat anything.” The couple also created a drinks package with the venue team, ranging from a glass of Champagne on arrival to the Laurent-Perrier Rosé Champagne toast tower for the speeches and wine for dinner. This was followed by a cocktail hour as the evening guests arrived. “Everything was taken care of,” Roxanne remembers. Sadly, the story of Roxanne’s dress didn’t start out well. The boutique where she purchased her original gown failed to deliver on time. With just three weeks to go and still no sign of it, she felt she had no choice but to source another. Sean, owner of Hugo and Elliot in Rhos-on-Sea, was her knight in shining armour and was able to sell her one of his new samples. “It was stunning and I’m so grateful to Sean,” Roxanne says. Adam’s three-piece suit included navy trousers with a beige waistcoat and jacket to mirror the wedding’s neutral palette. He paired it with a navy tie and pocket square. His groomsmen, meanwhile, wore the reverse: navy suits with beige ties. The bridesmaids, Roxanne’s best friend and daughter, wore beaded champagne dresses, while the flowergirls, her adorable twin goddaughters, wore white sparkly dresses to complement the bride. The sound of Benjamin Clarke on the piano kept the atmosphere relaxed yet elevated. Garden games were laid out for the little ones to enjoy, while guests had the joy of exploring the grounds in the sunshine. The wedding breakfast was served in the courtyard, followed by cocktail hour in the manor’s kitchen area. Once the evening guests had arrived and all were assembled, they headed through to the hidden nightclub where a live band and DJ provided the music for dancing the night away. For Roxanne, the most memorable part of the day was the ceremony. “It was just perfect,” she remembers. “Benjamin was incredible, playing our song, The Scientist by Coldplay, as I walked down the candlelit aisle through the picturesque outdoor space to Adam to say our vows.” The couple were also grateful to Darren, their events manager, who took them inside for a moment alone together after the ceremony, giving them a moment to soak it all in. “Just perfect,” the bride concludes.
