Your North West Wedding- April/May 2021 (Issue 67)

Stephen and I chose a white and gold three-tier cake decorated with hydrangeas and our initials from Maria Dobson Cake Design. We decorated the venue with lanterns, flowers, blankets in the bar area, a candy cart, popcorn machine, love letters, a flower wall, and a white LED dancefloor. For the flowers, we visited the HedgeHogg Florist and ordered white hydrangeas, peonies and roses with crystals in. The table plan was gold and glitzy to tie in with our theme. The tables were named after special places that we’d visited together. Our favours were pins for Dementia UK and The Royal British Legion, two charities close to our hearts. We also left gold and cream macarons in the guest bedrooms for when they returned in the evening. We were attracted to Sparth House as we could have the entire property to ourselves, and it also had accommodation. I also loved that it had w ooden floors throughout, meaning it would match our colour scheme. The team we re so welcoming, and Olivia ensured our day ran smoothly. We adored everything abou t the house and didn’t look at any other venues as we knew it was perfect for us. 32
