Edgar Wood, is a Grade I listed building and was designed by and named after Edgar Wood - in Expressionist style with Art Nouveau details, regarded as being one of the most architecturally significant buildings in Europe. Having your special day with us means that every tiny detail will be planned and managed to perfection. We can tailor a Wedding Package to suit your personal requirements. Catering, décor, flowers, dance floor, live bands, music, photography and even a full wedding planner can be booked with us. The venue holds a marriage licence so your ceremony and reception can be held in one place. Main Hall can accommodate up to 250 guests, a flexible space. The Reading room is where you and your guests can enjoy a more intimate wedding ceremony or have your pre-wedding drinks reception. The Green Room can be used for final preparations prior to the ceremony as well as for the signing of the register. Our Romantic Gardens provide a stunning backdrop and is quite simply one of the most photogenic locations for any celebration the garden is easily accessible and lends itself easily to hosting a small marquee which could connect to the building.
