Your North West Wedding- December 2020/Janaury 2021 (Issue 65)

I was so excited on the morning of the wedding. Sean had to chase some escaped cows before the ceremony, so there wasn’t a lot of time to think about everything. We loved the day from start to finish and it turned out just as we planned. REAL WEDDINGS My dress was the biggest nightmare. The gown of my dreams still hadn’t arrived in the country, so I had no alternative but to find another dress with just two weeks until the wedding. I never thought I’d find a design that I loved as much as the one I had originally ordered, so I went for something completely different and found the most perfect gown in Jules Bridal Boutique. It was the perfect fit, and all I needed was it shortened. Sean, the groomsmen and our dads opted for matching navy suits and waistcoats from Skopes. To tie everything together, we chose burgundy ties and pocket handkerchiefs that matched the bridesmaids’ dresses. The bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses from Willow & Pearl. We opted for two different styles, one had a V-neckline while the other was a cowl neck design. I wore my mum’s veil and a hair-vine in my hair. To complete the look, I chose Charlotte Mills shoes and placed a silver sixpence in them. We decided not to have entertainers and instead opted for garden games. We played egg and spoon, crochet, quoits and beer pong. 37 
