Your North West Wedding- August/September 2020 (Issue 63)

We named our tables after iconic places such as New York, Times Square and Brooklyn Bridge. Our cake was decorated with blue flowers and delicious icing. We gave our guests raffle numbers as favours. The best man then picked tickets out at random and gave each winner a money prize. For our big-day blooms, we hired Flower Design Events. I had seen them on social media, and we felt they were perfect for us. We opted for a light blue theme with lots of wildflowers to reflect the location. We love the location of The Inn at Whitewell, my sister got married there in 2014, and we’ve adored it ever since. The property was suited to our tastes, and we loved the gorgeous views and scenery. The church where we had the ceremony was next door, which was also very convenient. Michael and I chose to have a card placed on an easel for our table plan. It was decorated with blue flowers to tie in with our theme and looked great. 30
