Start by asking yourself what it is that you want/need. If you consider yourself shy or nervous in front of the camera, look for a supplier with a calming personality. Alternatively, if you have the confidence to pose, look for a photographer that can work with your bold personality to create magic. Before booking, decide what’s important to you. Are you looking for traditional shots, or do you want to show off your crazy personality? There is no right or wrong way of finding a photographer. Relax and remember a great supplier will be able to capture your day and reflect your style perfectly. We sometimes get bookings up to three years in advance. As they say, the early bird catches the wedding worm! Choose a supplier with good feedback and recommendations from other suppliers and venues. Any group can churn out fancy videos and sound clips, so it’s good to look online, but it’s the performance on the day that you need to think about. When choosing pieces, be as ruthless as you like, and don’t be afraid to tell the musicians what you want to hear and most importantly don’t want to hear! We play a huge selection of music, so it’s helpful to know what you’d like us to play. We welcome requests from guests, it’s fun, and the feedback from clients is that they couldn’t stop talking about us afterwards.
