Your North West Wedding - Dec/Jan 2019 (Issue 59)

The day was so relaxed and unlike any other wedding we’d ever been to. I got a bit emotional when it came to saying the vows but the day went smoothly and it felt like someone was watching over us. Andrew’s auntie, Sheila, married us and made it extremely personal. For our honeymoon, we went to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida for two weeks. We loved every moment and even went on a hot air balloon ride! My dad bought my dress for me from Dress the Bride. I was torn between two styles and couldn’t decide which one I preferred. I went back to the store to try them both again, and I instantly knew which one I wanted. I’m quite fussy when it comes to jewellery, but I managed to find a headpiece on Facebook that I loved, and Andrew gave me a Swarovski bracelet as a present. Andrew wore a grey suit from Freedmans. The groomsmen wore the same style but with different under-jackets and buttonholes. All our suppliers were amazing. Our videographer, Stand Out Video Services, captured every moment of our big day and our photographer, Mark Whittaker Photography, took lovely photos and made us smile effortlessly. We also had a master of ceremonies, Julie Holland, provided by Cheshire Conference & Events at Edgeley Park who went above and beyond to make our big day special. She’s a credit to the company, and we can’t thank her enough. To keep our guests entertained, we hired a DJ who performed a wide range of music. We were let down by our singer a few weeks before the wedding, but luckily I found a singer on Facebook called Jasmine Johnson. She was incredible and sang in the church and while our guests were arriving. She has an incredible talent, and we couldn’t have been happier. REAL WEDDINGS 47 
