REAL WEDDINGS 45  photo book and light-up letters.” DRESSED TO IMPRESS Rachael chose a beautiful Pronovias called Drail from Ava Rose Hamilton Bridal Couture in Colne. “I loved the length, illusion neckline and fitted material,” recalls the bride. “To complete the look, I opted for a cathedral-length veil and Jimmy Choo shoes, which were unbelievably comfortable considering I danced for hours and trekked through fields to take photographs.” The groom and groomsmen wore navy suits with grey waistcoats, black brogues and personalised cufflinks. “My maids opted for floor-length blue dresses from Amelia’s Bridal Boutique,” shares Rachael. “The design had a cowl back, and the hue was perfect for a summer’s day.” TIME TO CELEBRATE “We hired a band called The Good Habits,” Rachael adds. “They played a mixture of pop and indie classics. Our nearest and dearest said that they’d never been to a wedding where the dancefloor was so full all night. We also had a DJ perform between sets.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS “The day felt like a dream,” says the bride. “It didn’t seem real. We were so happy and had big smiles on our faces all day and night.” Their nuptials was made extra special by the glorious sunshine. “We had terrible rain the day before the wedding, but luckily for us, it cleared in time for our ceremony,” shares Rachael. “We were able to relax outside with our guests and take lovely pictures.” HONEYMOON “For our honeymoon, we went to Bali for 15 days,” shares the bride. “The hotels were beautiful, and we went on a lot of trips to see rice terraces, waterfalls, the famous Bali swing and various beach clubs.”
