Our three-tiered cake featured white icing with a sugar lattice design on the bottom tier and a floral wreath on the others. I had attended a friend’s wedding at Wynyard Golf Club before and the grounds are so beautiful. As our wedding was during the pande mic, we decided to give guests a personalised hand sanitiser fo r favours along with a mini bottle of gin. Planning a wedding during a g lobal pandemic gave us a comp letely fresh perspective of what matters! W e planned so many different ver sions of our wedding due to the ever-changi ng updates and restrictions. Th erefore, our number one goal was to stay str ong and get through it together – that’s precisely what we did. The bridesmaids wore Grecian-style pink dresses. We had rustic-style candle holders with flowers and balloons for our centrepieces. 30
