Coton House Farm was the ideal choice! I had always dreamed of a barnstyle wedding, and this venue fulfilled that vision. We loved the stunning views, layout, décor and buildings that matched our desires. Its proximity to our home was an added advantage. We were looking to host the ceremony and reception without needing to travel. The moment we exchanged our vows was unforgettable, but our first dance truly had a unique twist. We danced to James Morrison’s I Won’t Let You Go, but with a fun remix featuring Dizzee Rascal’s Bonkers. We wore our heart-shaped glasses, grabbed glow sticks, and got everyone on the dancefloor – it was an absolute blast! I wore a stunning A-line dress in white and ivory, featuring a champagne underskirt and a subtly glittery overskirt. The bodice was adorned with intricate floral designs that seamlessly transitioned into the skirt, complemented by a sheer net back and a beautiful train. My bouquet consisted of a blend of ivory and green faux flowers, accented with delicate gypsophila. My husband looked dashing in a sandy-coloured suit with sage green accents that coordinated beautifully with the venue and the bridesmaids. To complete my look, I chose white low heels embellished with faux pearls around the ankle strap. My accessories included silver jewellery, with dangling pearl earrings, a matching necklace and a bracelet, all showcasing floral-shaped gems that mirrored the details of my dress. The pear-shaped gem on the necklace was a perfect match for my engagement ring. We didn’t splurge on our honeymoon due to budget constraints, but we were thrilled to escape for a week Tenerife! One of the highlights was visiting Siam Park as just like big kids, we had an absolute blast! REAL WEDDINGS 29
