Your London Wedding - March/April 2024 (Issue 94)

We went to Rome and around the Almafi coast for two weeks after the wedding; this was a special trip as I usually plan our holidays, but this was a team effort as I booked accommodation while Joe booked activities and restaurants. As you can imagine, it was dreamy! The bridesmaid wore stunning dusky pink offthe-shoulder dresses, and the maid-of-honour wore a fitted version. The flowergirl wore a white silk mini dress to match my silk gown. We loved the drive from the ceremony to the reception in the convertible as everyone kept beeping and wishing us well. It was also an intimate moment we shared alone. We had a bespoke nude and white table plan decorated with candles and flowers. The tables were named after destinations we would visit on our honeymoon in Italy, such as Rome and Capri. I kept accessories minimal and had teardrop earrings, Chanel sandals and a gold headband later in the day. I wanted to be timeless and classy while still sexy, showing off my curves. I struggled with picking a dress as everything I tried didn’t match up to the first dress I pinned on my Pinterest by Leah Da Gloria. So, I opted for a custom silk appliqué version of that dress with an overskirt and veil. 41 REAL WEDDINGS
