I’m also a hairstylist, which helps me design comfortable pieces that sit beautifully with your chosen hair do. What are your top tips for looking and feeling your big-day best? Make sure you give yourself enough time to get ready. You want to arrive feeling radiant, not stressed! I give my clients a break- down of timings to include hair and make-up, getting into your outfit and snapping those pre-wedding photos. A little extra time is better than running late. What question do you get asked the most by wedding clients? I often get asked if I make the headpieces myself, the answer is “yes!” – I make every piece by hand. What’s your favourite way to relax and have some me-time? I have a black Labrador called Hattie, and we enjoy lovely long walks in the woods. This is my quiet time when I can relax. What are your top tips for looking and feeling your big-day best? Look your best, but also feel like yourself. Many people get caught up in thinking they have to look a certain way on their wedding day, which is not necessarily in keeping with their usual style and character. We think you should reflect your personal style – just the extra fancy version! Also, don’t let your outfit stop you from doing what you want to do on the day. We always check our brides can sit, walk, dance and put their hands up in the air (like they just don’t care!) We’ve had brides who want pockets, to do the YMCA, play a harp and row a boat. Finally, don’t stress the small stuff. We love details as much as the next person, but you’ll be surprised how much your guests won’t notice – don’t get bogged down in getting everything just so. What’s your favourite way to relax and have some me-time? We’re both big pasta lovers, so after a long day we can both be found cooking up a generous helping of pasta goodness before putting our feet up!
