Your London Wedding - November/December 2020 (Issue 74)

LAUDERDALE HOUSE 020 8348 8716 | www.lauderdalehouse.org.uk WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? Lauderdale House sits within Waterlow Park, which was generously presented to London County Council by Sydney Waterlow in 1889 as “a garden for the gardenless”. Offering all the charm of the country within easy reach of the city, it’s the perfect venue for couples looking for the best of both worlds. Lauderdale House has been through many transformations since it was first built in 1582. Inside, there are two light and airy historic gallery spaces, combining pretty period features such as Tudor beams, Victorian bay windows and Georgian columns with all the facilities a modern couple could want. LET’S CELEBRATE! There are two elegant ceremony locations available. The Lower Gallery and Entrance Hall (90 guests) is a flexible space with original Tudor features, while the Long Gallery (110 guests) boasts period windows, wooden floors and stunning garden views. These two flexible spaces can also host receptions, allowing guests to spill out into the grounds. Receptions are held here for up to 210 friends and family. The Conservatory is a modern design with glass walls and large sliding doors, which lead to the elegant Tea Lawn. This space doubles in size when opened into the internal courtyard with its impressive glass ceiling. WE LOVE… Free tasting sessions can be arranged for couples tying the knot here by the dedicated in-house catering team. www.flashfields.com ALSO CHECK OUT… Arsenal Football Club | www.arsenal.com Bruce Castle Museum | www.haringey.gov.uk Bush Hill Park Golf Club | www.bhpgc.com Harrow Arts Centre | https://harrowarts.com Stephens House and Gardens | www.stephenshouseandgardens.com The Decorium | www.decorium.co.uk www.flashfields.com www.flashfields.com 28
