Wilton’s Music Hall was an epic big-day backdrop for music-lovers Philippa and Chas Images courtesy of Emma-Jane Photography I f it wasn’t for a dating website, Philippa and Chas probably wouldn’t have crossed paths, as Philippa lived in South West London and Chas was in Essex. “When we met there was an instant attraction,” Philippa tells us. “We had the same sense of humour and a mutual love of live music, good food, dogs and our friends.” It comes as no surprise then that three years later they decided the time was right to get married, after buying their first home together and getting a dog. “Chas proposed in Lake Como, Italy,” Philippa explains. “We had gone there to scout out wedding venues. It all felt so natural.” After doing some research, the pair decided against tying the knot in Italy, because of the costs and logistics involved.
