Your London Wedding - Mar/Apr 2020 (Issue 70)

Chloe and Adam planned a relaxed day with a London vibe Images courtesy of Emma Hare Photography I t was love at first sight for Adam when he first clapped eyes on Chloe. “Around 16 years ago she worked as a waitress at a Pizza Hut in our home town,” he remembers. “I used to go in with a few of my friends after football training and there she was one day serving us. She knocked me for six; I thought she was unbelievably beautiful. It only took me 12 years to get up the courage to ask her out and now here we are.” Luckily, once he’d surmounted that first hurdle, Adam was quicker off the mark with his proposal, popping the question on Halloween not long after they’d made it official. “I got her with a trick-or-treat: a Haribo Starmix jelly ring in one hand, the proper engagement in the other,” he reveals. The couple set to planning their big day, choosing to tie the knot in London. “We both love living in London and wanted that to be a huge part of our day; we tried to use independent suppliers as much as we could,” notes Adam. Indeed, with incredible views over the River Thames, a pub they’d visited several times was the natural choice to host the reception. “We love the view and central location,” says Chloe. “We also love the wallpaper – so much so, it was the inspiration for our wedding cake.” Here, Chloe tells us more about their big day…  PEOPLE Chloe Pardell, 32, married Adam Ding, 33, at Marylebone Town Hall followed by a reception at The Rose on 31 st August,019.
