Modern day brides want to look glowing,

healthy and natural for the big day. The key to

this is strategically placed make-up including

glowing bases, translucent finishing products

and neutral shades that suit your skin tone. For

a healthy, natural looking base, I love using

the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted

Hydrating Gel Cream which hydrates, evens

skin tone and provides buildable coverage. I

like to finish the look with bareMinerals SPF25

Mineral Veil which provides the ultimate,

translucent finishing touch.

Take a pop

Some things are worth rushing out to buy: I

d include the limited edition Pop of

Passion Blush Balms from bareMinerals in that list. Available in three shades (my

favourite is zingy Papaya Passion, though Posy Passion delivers a soft, pretty look

too), this creamy balm’s lightweight texture makes it super-easy to apply and

create buildable colour. It’s £20 from

Sun is shining

Artdeco’s Here Comes The Sun limited edition summer collection

is here, with warm tones and gorgeous packaging to give you that

holiday feeling. The new Sunshine eyeshadows (£10.60) are

particularly good: highly pigmented and soft-textured in a

selection of earthy tones. They’re also fragrance, lanolin and

paraben free. Visit the website at

Bobbi Brown has released Face Mist

(£21.50), which I think will be a must-have

for summer.

More than just a finishing spray, spritz it

on for hydrated, soothed and glowing skin.

It features a refreshing combination of

green tea, chamomile and cucumber, with

scents of lavender and geranium, and

could be the ultimate hero product for hot

and bothered brides. Find out more at
