Your London Wedding - May/June 2025 (Issue 101)

One of our favorite personal touches was the table signs. We asked our parents to find old photos of us from ages one through eight. Each table featured a sign with pictures of both of us at the same age. Table One, for example, had a photo of me with my late grandad—my best friend—and one of Nikita with his grandad, who sadly couldn’t be there with us. It was a small detail, but it meant a lot and made a big impact. We hired a red double-decker to take guests to the reception, with our groomsmen handing out Champagne onboard. For many, it was their first time visiting London, so it doubled as a mini sightseeing tour. Peonies are my absolute favourite flower, and we were lucky to be getting married during their peak season. A family friend, who’s a florist, created gorgeous bouquets and centrepieces filled with roses and peonies. The wedding breakfast was provided by Graysons, the caterers at Dartmouth House. I attended a tasting session with my mother-in-law, and we had such a lovely time picking the dishes. A very talented friend of ours illustrated the order of the day. It was displayed outside the ceremony and later moved to the reception. It included sketches of the Chelsea Old Town Hall entrance, the red double-decker bus we hired, and, of course, Louis. 36
